in 1988 we noticed that there was a need for a store specializing
in clothing for men 5'7" and under in Southern California.
There were many petite sections in department stores and several
petite specialty stores for shorter, smaller women, but the
shorter man was totally overlooked. Since that time, our customer
list has swelled to more than 10,000 and we get new customers
every week.
During the past 21 years
we have learned a lot about fitting the shorter man. We have
worked and re-worked our patterns to get the optimum fit. Not
all shorter men are the same, but there are some common denominators:

Most of our
customers do not like pants that are baggy in the seat and
crotch and don't like excess fabric below the buttocks.

Most of our
customers don't like the breast pocket of their shirts to
be close to the waistband of their pants.

Most size
small men don't like "Linebacker" shoulder pads
in their jackets and shoulder seams that hang down over
their biceps.

Most men
with smaller feet don't like to fold the toe of their hosiery
under their foot, or have the heel running up the back of
their ankle.

Most smaller,
shorter men do not like 4" neckwear. Today's wide ties
look like a bib on a guy who weighs about 130 lbs. Also,
56" length ties require tucking the small end inside
the shirt on a man 5'4".
Having serviced
thousands of customers, we are experts
at Sizing Up. If you give us your height, weight, chest
and waist measurements, we can determine the proper size for
you.
The merchandise shown on this
electronic catalog is only a small portion of what we carry
in our store. As you browse through our site, credit card

Catalog --
We frequently get requests
for a printed catalog.
This puzzles us because any portion of our web site can
be printed out if a hard copy is needed.
We don’t publish a printed catalog because it is not
an efficient method of distribution. Once
in print there is no flexibility to change items, prices, add
styles or colors, delete items, etc.
For these reasons a large percentage of customer’s orders
are never filled due to out of stocks by the merchant.
This does little to promote customer satisfaction.
Moreover, catalogs are expensive to produce, print and
distribute. We
can give better value at lower costs and provide better customer
satisfaction through our electronic catalog on
the
web. We hope
you will agree.

All returns are to be shipped
to our retail
location only. Under no circumstances are returns
to be sent back to the manufacturer even if they were shipped
from there. All merchandise purchased
from us is returnable within 14 days of receipt, provided it
is in resalable condition.* Please do not remove tags
and include all original packaging with any returns. Failure
to do this will result in a restocking fee of 10% of the retail
value of the item returned. Only
defective merchandise will be accepted
for return after 14 days,
regardless if the item has been worn or the tags removed. When
returning your order, please include
a copy of your order receipt or a note indicating the date of
order, credit card number and expiration date. If you
would like to have a copy of the credit slip we issue, when
we receive your return, please supply a fax number and we will
send it to you. *Note:
The 14 day return period is waived on early purchased seasonal
holiday & Christmas gifts, but will only be
accepted for 14 days after the
holiday. All shipping
costs are non-refundable.
